Provider Data Management Specialist

Job Description

Core xRM is a boutique consulting and software development organization in the greater Philadelphia area. At Core xRM, we specialize in building Software as a Service (SaaS) products as well as custom solutions for the healthcare industry. Core xRM is expanding their Provider Data Quality team and looking for highly motivated and innovative individuals to join our team.

Our team members serve a vital role as liaisons between Health Insurance Companies and medical practices. Our objective is to verify practice information on behalf of Health Insurance Companies to adhere to Federal and State regulations for verifying the accuracy of provider directory data on a quarterly basis.


We are looking for individuals who achieves optimal levels of performance by taking initiative for the work they are assigned. We expect our agents to operate in compliance with policies, procedures and guidelines. Candidates should possess the ability to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to changing solutions.

Provider Data Management Specialist’s practice effective use of all available resources when given a project and must be transparent with a project’s progress. Coachability is important to us, therefore the ideal candidate should be receptive to feedback, willing to learn, and embrace continuous improvement. Not a sales position: However, the position in centered around a call center-like environment and does require specialists to be strategic during calls to ensure the efficiency of data collection and verifications are completed accurately and within an appropriate timeframe.


  • Conducting verification calls in a timely manner
  • Answering limited Inbound Calls
  • Effective communication – Upward and laterally
  • Researching specific cases and/or issues when necessary
  • Detail oriented documenting of essential information: Accurately and efficiently
  • Meeting company quality and production standards by following operating procedures
  • Establish effective working relationships and builds on mutual dependence and teamwork

Required Skills

  • Education: Minimum, high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent phone etiquette and overall professionalism
  • Strong general computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, preferably in Excel
  • Ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions
  • Demonstrates superior organization skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively; multi-task and set priorities

Desired Skills

  • Preferred knowledge/experience in provider credentialing or medical practice office operations, but not required
