Core xRM Response to COVID-19/Coronavirus

Posted In:

In the coming weeks and months, the COVID-19/Coronavirus will continue to adversely impact businesses. With that in mind, I would like to inform you about Core xRM’s response to this unprecedented public health crisis.

As always, our number one priority is the health and safety of our employees and their families. We’re closely monitoring the evolving situation and relying on information from the CDC, the WHO, and the federal government to guide our actions.

Core xRM has identified a team with overall responsibility for COVID-19 response planning. This team is guiding our company’s ability to sustain disruptions to normal operations and minimize the impact on our employees and clients.

For transparency, we are providing an overview of our planning and preparedness activities.

Core xRM has documented a broad approach to service and business continuity, including the potential effects of an outbreak such as COVID-19/Coronavirus. It’s important to note that there is currently no anticipated impact to Core xRM’s operation of our services.

With respect to an outbreak of COVID-19/Corona virus, we are providing an outline of our key preparedness activities to ensure continued service during this event:

  • Impact to Systems & Services
  • Impact to Core xRM locations and locations occupied by key Core xRM vendors
  • Impact to employees

Impact to Systems & Services

  • Systems scale & operations – Core xRM manages and maintains a geographically distributed network and cloud presence that provides sufficient capacity to run 100% of our production workload without continued interruption to our end users.
  • Core xRM’s hosting partners operate diversified network connectivity to minimize and reduce the risk of traffic disruptions and have the ability to control the routing of network traffic around affected regions
  • Core xRM is advancing regularly scheduled disaster recovery testing to guarantee readiness in the event portions of our network or facilities become unavailable or due to the disruption of network traffic into a specific region occurs.
    • We will work with your team to ensure that any interruption to service that may occur from disaster recovery testing is communicated in advance and will make best effort to ensure these timeframes do not significantly disrupt your operations.
  • Access to support during a quarantine will not change. Resources will monitor email and voicemail boxes during this time and will respond as usual

Impact to Location

  • Core xRM has adequate capacity for 100% of our staff and delegated vendors to work remotely
  • Core xRM is taking the necessary steps to ensure our employees are ready to work remotely in the event our location is shut down
  • Core xRM is working with our key vendors and hosting partners to identify any risks should their location be shut down and identifying plans to mitigate impact to our operations should such an event occur

Impact to Employees

  • Employees responsible for managing or providing services while working remotely have verified their capabilities to take action from their home
  • Already more than 50% of our workforce is already working from home with the remainder of team expected to be operating remotely by the end of next week.
  • We are reviewing our on-call schedules and adding additional hosting resources to ensure we have adequate coverage in the event resources fall ill

Core xRM is committed to putting the safety and well-being of our employees at the forefront while ensuring minimal to no interruption of services should the virus spread significantly.

We are here to address any concerns you may have. Please direct any inquires to support@corexrm.com should you have any questions regarding this announcement.

In good health,

Larry Martin
